There are numerous resources available, almost too many, and there is a big caveat coming with many if not most of the "free" resources. Many "free" resources in fact try to sell you something, usually man-made chemicals, GMO (genetically-modified) seeds, and the like, or at least the idea of using them, to get a "better" garden.

UC and Cooperative Extensions are obviously not the only free resources available to you, and we will add more of them here from time to time. But, as already told, you must AT ALL TIMES REMAIN AWARE of the fact that many "free" resources try to sell you something, usually man-made chemicals, GMO (genetically-modified) seeds, etc, or at least the idea of using them, to get a "better" garden. Now if pesticides-, herbicides-, and GMO-laden produce is your idea of optimal food, why bother with a garden at all? Your local supermarkets and fast-food joints will be more than happy to sell them to you at no efforts of your part, isn't it?
